DaySpring Assisted Living Community

Greeting each new day with spirit, dignity, and light

Several years ago, God led Collin Creek Community Church to begin a senior ministry. Through the strong support of the local church and the national Wesleyan Church, we are now seeing the fruits of that promise.

OUR MINISTRY

DaySpring is a not-for-profit ministry managed by Collin Creek Community Church in Plano, Texas. Under the leadership of pastor Dr. Blair Richey, DaySpring provides its residents with a comfortable, friendly environment grounded in Christian values. We believe it’s important that each of our residents feel at home in their surroundings. Our apartments are designed to easily accommodate personal furniture and belongings – allowing them to create a familiar environment that they can more easily call home.

OUR PLEDGE

At DaySpring we pledge to our residents and family members to provide a safe, intimate community where seniors' lives are enriched with personal care and love.

Safety and Community

We make certain that our residents feel safe and valued at DaySpring. Our seniors take comfort in knowing they are surrounded by a staff who treats them with respect, helps to meet their needs, and views them as gifts from God. As visitors enter DaySpring Assisted Living, they feel a sense of love and community different from other facilities. Unlike other communities, the staff is encouraged to engage and spend time with the residents. This promotes security and a feeling of extended family for both residents and visiting family members.

Personal Care and Love

Each of our seniors is accepted and cared for as they are. Staff members know very little of the history of the residents. This helps them to stay objective in their care, and allows them to create connections based solely on what they know of the residents. The staff is encouraged to take time with the resident by visiting, offering care, and praying with them if asked. This level of personal involvement results in an environment very different from other facilities, promoting not only the residents' spiritual and personal growth, but the staff member's as well.
